Stephanie is currently shooting her new feature film in Mexico “Invitación a un asesinato” while is waiting the release of her last project in Spain, the TV series “Los Pacientes del Doctor García”. During her career she was awarded at the Premios Clic Caracol, Premios TV y Novela, and the prestigious Premio India Catalina as Best Actress for her leading role on the popular soap opera “El secretario”. She also starred “La Hipocondríaca”, “El Comandante” or “Club de Cuervos”.

Actress, Singer, Dancer and Producer. This multitalented artist that stands out for her blond hair and green eyes, lives traveling between Madrid, los Angeles, and Lima (her birthplace), where she is considered a celebrity and is in charge of the actors’ formation department of the famous Dance Studio in Perú.

Stephanie received several awards for her leading role in the popular soap opera “El Secretario” (2012), such as the Clic Caracol Award, TV and Novela Award and the India Catalina Award.

She made her acting debut in a soap opera at the age of 10, and since then Stephanie participated in series like “Travesuras del corazón” (1998), “María Emilia: Querida” (1999), “Besos Robados” (2004-2007), “Rebelde” (2006), “La marca del deseo” (2007), “Doña Bella” (2010), “El Secretario” (2011), “La Hipocondríaca” (2013), “El Comandante” (2017) or “Club de Cuervos” (2015-2019). Her first role in a Spanish production was the feature film “Yucatán” (Daniel Monzón, Gummo Films, 2018, Spain).

She recently appeared in feature films such as “Bad Impulse” (Michelle Danner, All In Films, 2019, USA), “Como caído del Cielo” (José Pepe Bojórquez, Esparza Caldera Entertainment, 2019, Mexico), “Force of Nature” (Michael Polish, Lionsgate, 2020, USA) opposite to Mel Gibson and Kate Bosworth, “Amalgama” (Carlos Cuarón, 11:11 Films, 2020, Mexico) and “Hasta que nos volvamos a encontrar” (Bruno Ascenzo, Netflix Studios, 2022, Spain).

She is currently filming her new feature film in Mexico “Invitación a un asesinato” and is waiting for the release of the Spanish TV series “Los pacientes del Doctor García”, an adaptation of the novel written by Almudena Grandes, and directed by Joan Noguera and María Togores and produced by DeA Planeta.

Stephanie studied at very prestigious schools like TVI Actors Studio, Brodway Dance Center and New York Cinema School. In 2012, she starred the musical theatre “Chicago” at the Bogotá Royal Center.

In 2011 she released her album “Llegaré”, produced by the Colombian José Gaviria, and written and performed by Stephanie.

She also sang with Sebatian Llosa, releasing the single Let me Go (2016), recorded at Interscope Studios in Los Angeles, CA.

As a model, she worked for companies such as Pantene, Rosa Clara, Maxim Cosmopolitan, GQ, Vanidades, ¡Hola!, Mujer, cosas, Novia or Divinity, among others.

Stephanie Cayo is 168 cm tall, and her mother tongues are Spanish and English. Her voice has the range of Mezzo Soprano, and regarding her dancing she is specialized on Ballet, tap, hip-hop, free style and urban.
