Rafael González Lasso de la Vega is a referent in the creation of content and the production of major events in Spain and Latin America. CEO of Inusual Events, he is a member of the board of Agencias de Eventos Asociadas – Events Agencies Association (Aevea), but his professional interests explore new fields such as management, training, talent and music production, for which he has created the brand Mil por Cien. Currently, he is participating in some selection processes of audiovisual projects with several series, fiction films, TV shows and documentaries.

Founder and CEO of Inusual Events, his clients include corporate firms such as L’Oreal, Disney, Sage, Orange, Parques Reunidos and the Audiovisual Producers’ Rights Management Entity (Egeda).

Numerous awards endorse its trajectory, having received awards at the Evento Plus Awards and the FIP Awards, as well as being a finalist in the Aevea Awards.

A referent in its trajectory are the Forqué Awards, of which Inusual Events is in charge of the executive production and in which it is responsible for the artistic direction and the script of this gala that is broadcasted by RTVE.

The success of the Forqué Awards has led Rafael González Lasso to take on the creation of content, artistic direction and executive production of the Platino Awards. Awards that serve as a cinematographic bridge between Spain and Ibero-America, and that have become an essential event since its first edition held in Panama in 2014.

The great showcase of Ibero-American audiovisual productions has subsequently visited Marbella, Punta del Este, Madrid, and Playa del Carmen. In 2018, the gala held for the second year in Mexico received the congratulations of the president of the Hollywood Oscars, who declared having attended “a show that has nothing to envy” to the one they produce.

In 2023, Rafael González Lasso and his production company Inusual Events, were chosen by the Latin Grammy Awards to organize the Best New Artist event, hosted by international artist David Bisbal and in which, in addition to the new promises of the Latin world, renowned Latin American artists such as Carlos Vives and Monsieur Periné were present.
