Paco Sepúlveda is an actor, director, screenwriter and producer from Cadiz (Spain) who lives in Madrid since 2011. Educated in the three filming disciplines, we can highlight Fernando Pierna as one of his acting teachers. He majored with Pedro Loeb at The Script Factory and studied directing at the prestigious EICTV of Cuba.
In 2020 he funded, alongside his partner and also filmmaker Paco Ruiz, the production company Guainot Produce S.L.
He wrote and directed the short films: Arolito”, “Vive y deja vivir”, “Silencio”, “Imanes”, “Inocencia”, and independent pieces for his feature film “Historias”.
Paco obtained multiple national and international selections and awards for his short films: “Inocencia” won the Best Andalusian Short Film award on the Almería Cinema Festival; and “Silencio” won the Best Short Film award at the Cinema Festival of Santo Domingo; Best Director and Best Sound awards on the Medina del Campo International Festival and Best Andalusian Short Film award on the Andalusian Cinema awards.
He has worked with international actors such as Juan Diego, Emilio Gutiérrez Caba, Alberto Ammann, Maggie Civantos, Luisa Gavasa, Manuel Morón or Nico Furtado among others.
