Ana García Peña is an actress with a strong character and forged stages where she directed and starred in plays such as “Aquel lugar de nuestra infancia”, “Sensiblona”, “Vendiendo el mar”, “Cuídame de mí” and “Lo que no se ve”. “Cuídame de mí” won the Jury’s Special Mention award in Pabellón 6, and “Lo que no se ve” got the Eszenabide 2021 award (the basque theatre awards). She also displays her talent as an actress in “Oihanpean”, “Isiltasunaren Haitzuloa” and in the short films “It Comes Like Waves”, “En la nada te veo” and “Stonewall”. Moreover, Ana García Peña is the founder and director of the theater Vulnera Company. She is a Professional swimmer and speaks Spanish, Euskera (Basque language) and English.
She is currently filming a TV series for ETB1 and produced by K2000 (The Mediapro Studio).

Basque actress and dramatist, Ana García Peña won the Eszenabide 2021 award with “Lo que no se ve”, a play written, directed and led by her.
Ana majored in Dramatic arts in ESAD (Superior school of dramatic arts of the Basque Country – Dantzerti). She wrote, directed and acted in plays such as “Aquel lugar de nuestra infancia”, with the Young Euskadi company; “Cuídame de mí”, obtained the Jury special mention award in Pabellón 6; “Sensiblona” and “Vendiendo el mar”. She also got a role in the play “Ohianpean”, written by Alberto Conejero.
As an actress, she worked in the short films “It Comes Like Waves” and “En la nada te veo”, both directed by Andrea San Juan (the latest is a short film awarded at the Getxo Express), and “Stonewall”, by Hobeko González.
Ana also learned interpretation in front of a camera with renowned names such as Andrés Cuenca, Mikel Rueda or Paula Cámara, and received classes of contemporary dance, scenic arts and singing.
Her first languages are Spanish and Euskera (Basque language), and she is fluent in English. Between her abilities we find dancing, singing, swimming, yoga, and fencing.
