One of the most reputable investigative journalists in Spain and author of 11 novels and essays on police and judicial themes.
With a degree in Journalism from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a Master’s in Judicial Journalism from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Carlos has worked in some of the main media companies in Spain, such as SER, Sexta, TV3, Onda Cero, RAC1, etc.
Since 2015, he has been directing the digital newspaper El Taquígrafo.com, specialized in judicial, police, and investigative reporting.
His novel «Mala Vida» (Ed. Aguilar, 2008) received the prestigious International Black Novel Award Rodolfo Walsh at the Semana Negra de Gijón.
Currently, he directs and presents his first criminal chronicle podcast titled Historias de la Mala Vida. And he can be seen every day in the crime section of the program Y ahora Sonsoles (Antena3), the leading TV program in its time slot in Spain.
